Art Commission Terms of Service
In order to commission me, you must agree to my terms of service before filling out the Commission Form.
What I Can/Will Draw:
-Humans
-Animals and Creatures
-LGBTQ+
-Nature
-Some Buildings and Technology
-2D Animations (Humans Only)
What I Cannot/Will Not Draw:
-NSFW
-Gore
-Cities
-Complex Machinery and Technology
-Hate Art
Permissions:
-You can do whatever you want with the art, but credit must be given to me, especially if you're posting it anywhere. Credit MUST be given if you are using my art for a book you're publishing, or anything else you're making profit from.
-I can use any art I make as commission examples.
-I might post finished art to my DeviantArt. If you don't want this, please let me know.
-I will post animations to YouTube as unlisted, so you'd need the link to view it. If the animation is bigger, like an AMV, it will most likely be posted as public. If you don't want an animation public, please let me know.
Payments:
-Commissions must be paid in full before I start on the art.
--If it's a pricey commission, we can set up a payment plan, but I'm still going to need some of the payment upfront before beginning the commission.
--If it's an animation, I will give an estimate for how much time it will take me. I expect half the estimate upfront, and the rest of the payment once the animation is complete (and before you see the final product).
-I accept PayPal, Venmo, and credit card (or cash, if you know me in real life).
-If I fail to complete your commission (which has never happened before), you will be refunded the full amount and given the art I had managed to complete.
-If a commission is canceled before I begin work on it, you will receive a full refund. If a commission is canceled after I begin work on it, you will receive partial refunds, depending on how much progress I've made.
-Once a commission is complete, no refunds are allowed.
Process for Art:
-After receiving payment, I will sketch out the commission and send it to you to ensure everything is good. If you want any changes, you will let me know before I start the line art layer(s). You will continue to be given progress reports along the way, where you can let me know if you want any changes. After a commission is completed, only minor changes can be made.
-I will do my best to update the commission's status once a week. If you don't hear anything, you may reach out.
-I will only have three slots available for commissions at a time. After that, a wait list will begin. Once the current slots' commissions are done, I will reach out to those on the wait list.
Process for Animations:
-If it's an animation, I will take videos of myself doing the actions to ensure we are on the same page about what you want with action, camera movement, camera angle, etc. before I begin. I also use these videos for rotoscoping, so it will be very close to what the final product will be.
-I will give an estimate price. You will pay half upfront before I begin any work.
-I will get the line art done and show you a preview. You can request minor changes.
-I will draw the background to ensure it's correct before moving to the coloring/shading.
-I will color the animation, adding shading if you've paid for it. I will also add in any magic effects to the characters and backgrounds at this time.
-Once an animation is complete, I will give you the final price of how many hours it took me (hours will be logged for each time I work on the animation), and you must pay me the remainder before I give you the final product.
-If you want minor changes made (with the magic effects, background, etc.), I will go in and make the adjustments. If it's quick (an hour or less), there won't be any charge, but if it's more time-consuming or tedious, you will have to pay for however long it takes me to finish.
